Detonate Festival 2017:
Following the recent incidents in Manchester and London our security and policing arrangements have been fully reviewed. During the planning stages of, up to, and during Detonate Festival, we work very closely with the Police, Security and Health & Safety. Whilst the event is not deemed to be at risk, there will be a number of extra security and policing measures in place.
Please be understanding and cooperate with stewards and police - the additional measures are for the safety and security of everyone.
- Searches will be thorough so please don't bring prohibited items, or anything you don't need. Please be patient.
- Please arrive as early as possible - more thorough searches will take longer so please try and avoid peak times (2-4pm) if you can.
On top of our usual prohibited items list, we are asking people not to bring bags or backpacks.
Small handbags / manbags or purses are ok. Max size 25cm x 20cm.
Last entry on the Saturday is 4pm sharp. We have amended the Friday last entry time to 4pm. If you aren't able to get there before 4pm, we will add you to a late entry list. Please email email@example.com with late entry as the subject header.
For the safety of our customers and our staff, everyone will be searched prior to entry.
Anyone found with illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the festival or handed over to the police.
Please don’t attempt to bring in:
- Bottles or any glass (this includes perfume, bottles of water)
- Alcohol or illicit drugs
- Fireworks or flares
- Selfie sticks or anything which could be used as a weapon
