Sub Focus is without doubt one of the biggest D&B producers around today. After releasing a string of anthems such as ‘Timewarp’, ‘Airplane’, ‘Flamenco’, ‘X-Ray’, he has gone on to remix The Prodigy, release his self titled debut album, and now create a live show.

The Sub Focus story has gone down in drum and bass history; after a friend passed on a demo CD in a packed club to Ram Records head honcho Andy C, Nick Douwma’s productions were immediately snapped up by the Ram Records camp. His first release on Ram’s sister label, Frequency was the start of many things for Nick. He quickly became renowned for consistently producing dance floor smashers, which were a staple part of Andy C, and many other ‘A’ list DJ’s sets.

Sub Focus is no one tricky pony though; Having always been interested in electronic music in all it’s forms, he has gone on to produce house and dubstep. His single ‘Could this be Real’ becoming a crossover anthem, and Radio One favourite.

Before touring with Pendulum in the UK, playing at venues as huge at Wembley Arena and the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, Sub Focus developed his unique live show that he’s been smacking up festivals with, with its original blend of drum and bass, electro and dubstep – it covers all that is Sub Focus.
