Beardyman
Twice UK Beatbox Champion in 2006 and 2007, Beardyman seems to have transcended the world of beatboxing. Having notched up appearances at near on any festival you could name, and tv and radio appearances on Radio 1, 2 and 4, 6Music, XFM and Kiss, to name a few, he’s one of the select few to have moved well beyond the beatboxing scene and establish himself as a household name.

Having developed a mind-blowing live dance-music-production system which he uses live, Beardyman is famed for his unique improvised style. On his sold-out “Open Sauce” tour he invited people to chip in suggestions for his set-list prior to the gig . He received loads of suggestions of unlikely genre’s to mash together, subjects for improvised songs, and classic tunes and songs to cover, which he did, using only his mouth and the “spaceship”, a live-production set-up, packed with looping equipment, sound manipulation tools and synthesizers.

It all started when Darren Foreman was 10 years old, when he wrote his first classical music symphony, a chance meeting with drum and bass at the age of 15 kicked off an interest in music technology.

His live shows with their original comedy and improvisations are guaranteed to have you laughing and dancing at exactly the same time.
